Gulf Resources Approved to List on the NASDAQ Global Select Market

NEW YORK and SHANDONG, China, Oct. 21 -- Gulf Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GRUS - News; Nasdaq: GFRE - News; "Gulf Resources" or the "Company"), a leading manufacturer of bromine, crude salt and specialty chemical products in China, today announced it has received approval to list its common stock on the NASDAQ Global Select Market. The Company will trade on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "GFRE." Until such time, the Company's common stock will continue to trade on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol "GRUS." The Company will provide additional information regarding the trading start shortly.
