Gulf Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: GURE) is a holding company that produces bromine, crude salt, chemicals, and natural gas. Our Shouguang City Haoyuan Chemical Co. Ltd ("SCHC") primarily produces and distributes bromine and crude salt. We believe we are one of the largest producers of bromine in China. Our Shouguang Yuxin Chemical Industry Co. Ltd ("SYCI"), has produced chemical products used pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, papermaking, and other industries. We are currently constructing a new factory for SYCI. Until it is opened, SYCI is not producing any products. Our Daying County Haoyuan Chemical subsidiary produces natural gas and brine products in Sichuan province. This business is also temporarily closed as we work to meet new environmental regulations.
